Heritage Christian Academy

  • At Heritage Christian Academy our caring, dedicated, and experienced teachers are better able to meet each child's individual needs. We keep our classes small with a 7:1 (or fewer) student-to-teacher ratio, and academic programs are tailored to help students gain confidence and excel. Small class sizes enable us to maintain more of a family atmosphere rather than the "institutional" feel of larger schools.

    In addition to our outstanding staff, we've chosen curriculum that meets both the academic AND spiritual needs of our students. The curriculum from BJU Press exceeds national academic standards, and biblical teachings are integrated throughout. The curriculum also emphasizes the dreams and goals of America's founding fathers so that students have a firm understanding and appreciation of the freedoms we enjoy here in America.

  • We use curriculum from BJU Press for the bulk of our curriculum, Sunburst Digital - Type to Learn for keyboarding skills, Zaner-Bloser for handwriting practice, and Vocabulary A-Z to practice spelling and vocabulary.

  • Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will be a maximum of 27 students in grades 1 through 6.

  • Yes, we do require uniforms. Polo shirts with our logo may be purchased directly from Heritage Christian Academy. Please see pages 14-15 of our Parent and Student Handbook for more information on our uniform policy.
